I built this typeface back in 2017 and 2018 just before starting a new job. But I got so busy in my new role (in…management…shudder) that I no longer had time for side projects. I only just managed to put the source files up on Github. Little did I know that people would download Obliquay anyway and start using it! Wow. It was exciting to come back two years later and see that happen.
I’ll eventually have to tell the whole story of how and why I did it, but for now, it’s just what’s in the README: Obliquay is a friendly, mildly off-kilter headline font with a touch of 60s movie poster.
You can download Obliquay from here or always get the most recent version at the Obliquay Git Repo. OTF and FontForge formats are provided for Regular, Regular Bold, Condensed, and Condensed Bold.
I appreciate all the kind words and it’s a great feeling to know I can contribute to others’ creative pursuits.
Thank You!
